Michelle Leigh
Michelle Leigh is a Certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser, who has been appraising throughout the Greater Minneapolis-St. Paul Area since 1999. Michelle's appraisal career began in commercial with The Taylor Appraisal Company. Michelle spent years working alongside her supervisor appraising warehouses, office buildings, restaurants, shopping centers, etc., before specializing exclusively in Single Family Residential, in 2002. Since 2002, Michelle has worked as an independent contractor for banks, lenders, and AMCs, producing residential real estate appraisals for mortgage finance purposes. In 2016, Michelle founded Excelsior Appraisals, LLC (formerly known as Minnetonka Appraisals, Inc.), which services both lenders and private parties.

In 2016, Michelle expanded her real estate expertise into sales and joined RE/MAX Advantage Plus and The Minnesota Real Estate Team!

In 2022, Michelle began working as a Replacement Cost Consultant for EXL Service/Castle High Value, writing replacement cost reports for insurance purposes of high value homes throughout Minnesota and the Midwest.
In 2023, Michelle began working as a Certified Minnesota Assessor for Carver County until 2024 when she began working for the City of Minnetonka and became an Accredited Minnesota Assessor in 2025.
Michelle Leigh continues to work in each of these real estate fields, carrying multiple state licensures, providing her clients a level of market analysis expertise that goes beyond traditional real estate services!
